Montreal Day 1 - 5 Jan 2013

So after our catch up with Marc, Nic and Kritz, we retired to our dorm for a nights rest. Montreal is 5hours behind London so we effectively went to sleep at 4am. We woke up at 8 the next morning feeling fantastic and well rested! We had conquered the jet lag and V, the Jellybean and I were ready to see Montreal.

We decided to walk to the hotel where we were meeting our coach (Johannes or Jo). It was only a 2km walk but with half a meter of snow all around us we were mighty cold. The temp was about -5 and all locals expressed how mild the winter has been! Ha ha

On arrival at the hotel, Jo suggested that we do a warm up case and present against one of the German terms (his friend is their coach). The cobwebs were thick and sticky but 10min into the 3hour case we regained our form as the machine began to splutter back to life! We presented and got some great feedback for going forward! The case prep and presentation took up the remainder of the day and just before 7 we headed out to meet up with two German Schools to have dinner!

V unfortunately has gone down with horrible flu... Ive given her a prescription of strict relaxing in bed and I'm sure in no time the two of them will be back up and kicking!
